Group Treatment
Groups are an opportunity to learn new skills and ways of coping, as well as to connect with others who have had similar life experiences. Group sizes typically range from 6-8 individuals meeting by telehealth.
Coping Together
This class is designed to help you learn coping skills to better deal with your symptoms and day-to-day life.
Skills include:
- Emotion Regulation: skills to help you get off the emotional rollercoaster, and to change your intense and uncomfortable emotions
- Distress Tolerance: skills to help you get through tough times without making the situation worse
- Interpersonal Relationships: Build skills to help you improve the health of your relationships, set boundaries, and communicate effectively with others
- Mindfulness: skills to help you remain grounded and in the present moment, and gain an understanding of your thoughts and behavior
This group is currently recruiting interested members, and the group will begin as soon as enough participants are available.
Hypnosis for IBS/IBD
Hypnosis is an effective way to learn to manage your gastrointestinal symptoms. Group meetings last 60 minutes and meet every-other-week (twice a month) for seven weeks.

Military Sexual Trauma (MST) Group
The MST group provides survivors with the opportunity to learn more about MST and common reactions to trauma, meet other veterans who have had similar experiences, and learn coping skills to better manage their experiences.
At this time, the group is recruiting interested members (men and women) for groups that will begin as soon as enough participants are available. Group meetings will last 90 minutes.
